Solution introduction
At present, in the high-speed hair dryer market, the mainstream PCB solution is divided into A: full-bridge module + MCU; B: Half-bridge module + MCU: C: Discrete device + MCU encapsulated high-voltage drive; ESOP9's half-bridge power module TP1F series integrates 1 half-bridge high-voltage driver + 2 fast-recovery MOS: compared with scheme A, the PCB layout is more flexible, the heat dissipation is better, and the cost is lower; Compared with the C solution, there are fewer components, lower requirements for the main control package, better device consistency, higher PCB yield, and the cost can be equal
The solution adopts a domestic M0, with a main frequency of 60Mhz, built-in OP*2, CMP*2, 32KFlash, 4K Ram, GPIO*26, combined with Tale-Semi's hair dryer software solution and unique diode reverse bias MOS internal resistance sampling patented technology, which can greatly save the available GPIO of MCU and fully cover the peripheral function requirements in the field of high-speed hair dryer.
Thanks to the TP1F series' bottom-side cooling dual PAD, the power density output is greatly improved in a more compact area.
The picture shows that in TP1FM5004C, at 120W power, no air cooling, and 10 min, the thermal field performance is basically the same as that of TO252 package MOS under the same specification.
